The boredom has got to me quite a bit this week.  On the positive side I only have two weeks of the temp job left.  Other things that made me happy.

1. My boyfriend suprised me with a magazine I have been trying to get my hands on for a week.  Another magazine I’d love to have a page through are Gather Journal
2. Yellow nails – not quite the shade I was looking for but it was in Cosmo magazine.  I have to say is pretty trashy and am concerned that I used to read it as a teenage girl.  I doubt I will actually read any of it.  Although Jessica Ennis is on the cover so yay for real role models.
3. I think part of the struggle this week has been a lack of creative happenings.  I’ve been intrigued with modern calligraphy for a while now so when I saw this online course I sent my boyfriend to Cass Arts to get me supplies (yes I’m bossy).  They aren’t the suggested nibs but their still pretty.  Think it must be the magpie in me and the love of shiney things.

I also went to a meet-up organised by Katie and Hannah of Shoestring Splendour.  It is always good doing something a bit different in the evening and chatting with lovely ladies and drinking fizz is a good way to do that.
