Last weekend the Mr and my made a decision which although seems far away is quite exciting. It is now decided that in three years time we will leave London. The option after that is a bit uncertain still but is between:
- Move directly to Italy
- Go travelling for a few months and then move to Italy
- Go to the middle east to earn some money and then move to Italy
Basically the decision relies on money but I find them all rather exciting.
It has got me thinking about creating a bucket list of things I need to do in England before I leave – the places I need to visit, going to the Globe, going to a festival are some initial thoughts.
Three years will hopefully give me the chance to build a big enough photography business that it would be possible to relocate and not take long to find business. Perhaps also culminate other ways of making money once we move to Italy.
At the same time I also need to prep for becoming more Italian: we are planning on starting Italian lessons next year but I also really want to learn to cook like I had an Italian nonna and sound like I am not blatantly lying when I say (semi jokingly) that I am half Italian.
These links kind of get me started in two areas:
- Life Love Food – an Italian food blogger who lives in the same area as me. I feel kind of stalkerish reading her blog but I think it might be a useful tool for when I start learning Italian next year, plus the recipes look delicious.
- Helena La Petite – London based photography blogger I came across this week
