Two weeks ago I convinced two friends to have their make up and hair done and let me take some portrait shots of them.  I’ll share some more later this week but this picture reminded me so much of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings.

I had actually been thinking about doing an ‘imitating art’ series.  More as a form of practice and learning about lighting etc rather than something original as I think it has been done quite a lot.  All the same, it seems I started unintentionally (even though the light isn’t the same, I think the feeling is similar).
