november photo challenge

november photo challenge I have been a bit slack with my more detailed photo challenges and promise to get on to them again soon.  In the meantime I was inspired by my Eat and Snappers to do a 30 day challenge. Honestly, the only way to become a better photographer is to practise, practise, practise. Even when the weather is becoming crappy and it is dark outside. So hopefully these prompts are achievable in terms of what November has to offer and illustrates that you don’t need any fancy thing to be happening in order to take some pictures. Just photograph the world around you!

If you take part leave your link in the comments so I (and hopefully others) can come and have a look.

I’ve encouraged my Eat and Snappers to use this as an opportunity to practise using their real cameras and would say the same to you.  But, honestly if you want to do this as an instagram challenge feel free to do that too.  If you do the latter use the hashtag #mycnovember (as in “my creative november” – isn’t it handy that my initials work for everyone?)

  1. Coincidentally, I’ve just been looking for a fun Instagram challenge, as I missed a great one this month. This might be just what I need to get inspired and take some new photos!

  2. I’m just learning to use my DSLR camera properly (and not on the auto setting!) so think this is the kick up the bum I need to focus on a project 🙂 printed and ready to snap tomo – thanks! x

  3. I think I’ll follow your suggestion to take 7 photos each weekend, that way I can use my real camera and practice using manual now that I can finally do it after the Paris ‘line’ revelation! I’ve just finished an Instagram October 30-day challenge and it was a bit of a toughy some days being at work and having dark mornings & evenings! Looking forward to playing along and seeing what everyone comes up with 😉

  4. Amazing idea. I would love more time with what I call my “big girl” camera. I always feel like I’m not using it to its full potential and so this would be a fun project to do. Lisa x
